Victoria Academy of Dramatic Arts is pleased to announce our much anticipated Children's Programs. All classes are held at 618 Yates St.
Parents may register on line (www.vadarts.com), by mail, or in person at the academy. *Please note you must register prior to program start date.
Our children's programs are designed to encourage children to explore their imaginations while learning the craft of acting in a safe, nurturing, fun environment.Through improvisation, movement, voice and scenework, young actors gain confidence, self esteem and stronger communication skills as they work together on expression and characterization.

                                             Special Event!!!  Audition Workshop with Jacqui Kaese on Saturday Jan 12

We are very pleased to host this amazing artist who is the genius behind so many Vancouver Island success stories. Morning and afternoon workshops will focus entirely on children's auditions for Film, TV and commercials.





*With over 30 years experience in the entertainment industry, Jacqui Kaese has worked as an actor, instructor, agent and manager. Her alumni students have worked with some if the biggest names in Hollywood, including Nicolas Cage, Nicole Kidman, Robin Williams and Jason Statham. She has discovered and mentored many successful young actors through her own school Spotlight Academy in Nanaimo. She brings a great eye, an astute business sense, and a no-nonsense yet caring approach to what is sure to be an exciting and enriching day for our young actors.

  *All instructors in our children's programs have considerable experience teaching children and are required by the academy to have current criminal record checks through the Victoria Police Department. These are kept on file at the academy.
